Beijer Tech acquires Noxon

Beijer Alma’s subsidiary Beijer Tech acquired 100 percent of the shares in Noxon AB from MVI today.

Noxon provides decanter centrifuges, polymer machines, control systems and after-sales services related to water treatment in several applications. The company’s customers primarily comprise municipal wastewater treatment plants as well as customers in other industries, such as fishing, recycling, chemical, paper, and oil and gas. Its main markets are Sweden, Finland, Norway and Poland. The company has 38 employees and sales of about MSEK 70 with favorable profitability. Noxon will be part of Beijer Tech’s Fluid Technology business area.

Beijer Tech’s President, Staffan Johansson, commented on the transaction: “Through the acquisition of Noxon, we are continuing to invest in Fluid Technology, adding new products and customer segments such as water treatment plants. The company has an attractive mix of machinery sales and after-sales services, with a strong market position in its niche in the Nordic region."

Noxon’s CEO, Jens Johansson, commented on the transaction: “For those of us at Noxon, it is inspiring to work together with an industrial owner such as Beijer Tech to further develop the company.”

MVI’s Partner, Stefan Karlsson, commented on the transaction: “MVI is proud of the way Noxon has developed during the time MVI has owned the company. We believe that Beijer Tech is the perfect owner for the company’s future development.”
