Fredrik Hedman has been appointed as the new CEO of Lundgrens Sverige AB.

Lundgrens Sverige is Beijer Tech’s largest business with a turnover of approx 360 MSEK.

Fredrik has a long career within the company and has served as both Sales Manager as well as Site Manager. He will replace Staffan Johansson who is now CEO of Beijer Tech.

Fredrik Hedman will assume his new role as CEO by January 1 2021.

Mikko Karhu has been appointed as the new Managing Director of KTT Tekniikka Oy from 15th of January. Mikko started to work at KTT Tekniikka as Operations Director 2019. Prior to that he has worked as manager in the field of industrial maintenance. 



Mikko Karhu will replace Mikko Pekkola, one of the previous owners of KTT Tekniikka who will continue to work at KTT Tekniikka as the Sales and Business Development Director.



KTT Tekniikka Oy specializes in products and services for mechanical power transmissions used in the industrial sector. The company´s revenues in 2019 amounted to 7,7m€ and has approx. 50 employees. 

Michael Ahlgren has been appointed as CEO of Encitech Connectors AB from March 1, 2021. Michael has a broad industrial background with technology and leadership and a master’s degree in engineering.

Michael Ahlgren replaces the former CEO and owner Henrik Olsen who now retires.

Beijer Alma’s subsidiary Beijer Tech entered into an agreement today to acquire 75 percent of the shares in INUinvest AB, consisting of INUstyr together with its sister companies.

INUstyr is active in building automation systems and offers energy efficient solutions for public and private customers in Sweden. The company focuses on complete solutions for indoor environments through system integration and coordination, particularly in commercial and specialized buildings. The corporate group’s sales amount to approximately MSEK 110 with favorable profitability.



Beijer Tech’s President, Staffan Johansson, commented on the transaction: “The acquisition of INUstyr represents an important milestone for Beijer Tech. INUstyr is a well-managed niche company with a very strong market position. I’m pleased that we were able to complete this acquisition, which we view as an exciting new area in Beijer Tech.”

After the sale of the majority stake, the previous principal owners will remain in place as minority owners and in their operative roles to further develop operations. INUstyr’s CEO, Roger Svensson, commented on the transaction: “For us in the INU Group, this feels like a natural step in our ongoing journey of growth. We are convinced that in Beijer Tech, we have found the right strategical partner for the long-term ownership and development of the company alongside new and existing customers.”

Beijer Alma’s subsidiary Beijer Tech acquired the shares in PA Ventiler AB, based in Lindome outside Gothenburg, via Lundgrens Sverige AB today.

PA Ventiler conducts sales of valves, primarily to the pulp & paper industry as well as the chemical and petrochemical industry. The company generates revenues of approximately MSEK 27 with favorable profitability.

Beijer Tech’s President, Staffan Johansson, commented on the transaction: “The acquisition of PA Ventiler represents an important milestone for the Fluid Technology business area and for Lundgrens. PA Ventiler is a well-managed niche company with a very strong market position. In connection with change of ownership of their family business, Fredrik Karlsson will assume the role of Managing Director of the company and Ulf Karlsson will concentrate on his role as Sales Director Lena Karlsson will continue in her role as Finance manager.

Staffan Johansson has been appointed as the new CEO of Beijer Tech. Staffan Johansson currently serves as CEO of Lundgrens, Beijer Tech’s largest business, as well as Business Area President for Fluid Technology. He will replace Staffan Andersson, who is moving on to a senior position outside the Group.

Staffan Johansson will assume his new role by December 1 at the latest. He is 43 years old, holds a master’s degree in engineering and has extensive experience from international, industrial operations. Since 2016, he has served as CEO of Beijer Tech’s largest company, Lundgrens, as well as Business Area Manager for Fluid Technology. Prior to that, Staffan Johansson worked at Stena Technoworld, where he held various positions including Managing Director of the company’s German operations.

Beijer Tech specializes in industrial trading and manufacturing. The company’s revenues in 2018 amounted to MSEK 913. Its operations have undergone changes in recent years with the aim of increasing the added value of its products and services through both organic growth and acquisitions. These measures have resulted in tangible earnings improvements.

Beijer Alma’s subsidiary Beijer Tech has today, through its Finnish subsidiary Beijer Oy, acquired the shares in KTT Tekniikka Oy.

KTT Tekniikka offers a broad range of mechanical power transmission products and service for the Finnish market. The company reported revenues of MEUR 7.5 for 2018 with favorable profitability and has numerous customers in various industries, including the pulp and paper, engineering and processing industry.

Beijer Tech has today entered into an agreement through Lundgrens Sverige AB, to acquire the shares of Codan AS in Norway from the Norwegian company Albert E. Olsen AS.

Codan AS is a full-service supplier of hoses, couplings and injection systems, with revenues of MNOK 33 in the Norwegian market in 2018.  In addition to wholesale operations, the company also offers service and manufacturing of customized steel hoses and other products.

The seller, Albert E. Olsen AS (AEO), is a nationwide supplier of personal protection equipment, tools and consumables for the industrial, construction and fishing sectors. Beijer Tech has today entered into an agreement to acquire the shares in Encitech Connectors AB in Halmstad.

The company is a Swedish manufacturer and distributor of electronic components for the industrial sector, with revenues of approximately MSEK 50 and favorable profitability. Half of the company’s revenues are derived from proprietary products and 70 percent of its products are exported to customers in some 20 different countries.

Beijer Tech has today entered into an agreement to acquire the assets and liabilities in the Finnish company Uudenmaan Murskaus.

The company sells spare and wear parts for rock crushers with revenues of approximately MEUR 2 and favorable profitability.
